Ib-u-ron It is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain and fever.

Active substance: Each 5 ml of oral suspension contains 100 mg ibuprofen.

Ibuprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug derived from propionic acid with marked anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic properties. Its mechanism of action derives from its inhibitory action on prostaglandin synthesis. Prostaglandins play an essential role in the onset of fever, pain and inflammation.

Dosage and method of administration:

Orally administered and intended for short-term treatments only. The lowest effective dose should be used for the shortest period of time needed to relieve symptoms. The dose of ibuprofen to be administered depends on the child's age and body weight. For children from 3 months to 12 years of age, the recommended single dose is 5-10 mg/kg as medically indicated. The maximum daily dose is 20-30 mg/kg of body weight divided into 3 to 4 administrations. The pack contains a 5 ml dosing syringe. Each 5 ml of oral suspension contains 100 mg ibuprofen. The bottle should be shaken vigorously before use. The oral suspension can be taken with or without meals. It is recommended that patients with gastric susceptibility take ib-u-ron with meals. For children aged 3-5 months, medical advice should be sought if symptoms worsen or do not improve within 24 hours. For children over 6 months of age and adolescents, medical advice should be sought if ib-u-ron is needed for more than 3 days or if symptoms worsen.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.

In case of doubt or persistence of symptoms consult your doctor or pharmacist.
