Paracetamol Generis 500mg 20 tablets

Paracetamol Generis 500mg is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of clinical situations that require an analgesic and/or an antipyretic, such as: migraines with previous medical diagnosis, of mild to moderate intensity, toothache, ear, menstrual, traumatic, muscle and joint pain, of mild to moderate intensity and analgesic before and after surgical interventions.

Active substances: 500mg paracetamol.

Paracetamol has pharmacological properties of proven efficacy as an analgesic and antipyretic, although it shows a weak anti-inflammatory effect.

Dosage and method of administration:

The dose to be administered depends on age and body weight. The usual single dose is 10 - 15 mg of paracetamol per kg of body weight and the total daily dose is up to 50 mg/kg of body weight. Paracetamol Generis 500 mg tablets is not recommended for children under the age of 12 years. Administration can be repeated at 4 - 6 hour intervals, ie 3 - 4 doses per day. The maximum daily dose of paracetamol should not exceed 4 g/day. Acetaminophen (acetaminophen) is a frequent component of several combination medicines. This fact must be taken into account in order not to exceed the maximum daily dose.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Severe liver disease.
