Fenistil 1mg/g Emulsion 8ml

Fenistil 1mg/g Emulsion is indicated for insect bites; 1st degree burns, including sunburn; and in the localized symptomatic treatment of eczema and dermatitis, with previous medical diagnosis.

Active substance: dimethindene maleate.

Dimetindene maleate is a histamine H1 receptor antagonist. When applied topically, dimetindene maleate also has local anesthetic properties. Fenistil Emulsion is effective against itching of various origins and quickly relieves itching and irritation. The emulsion formulation also has cooling, softening and emollient/humectant properties.

Dosage and method of administration:

Apply 2 to 4 times a day. Special instructions: In case of severe itching or extensive lesions, local application of Fenistil Emulsion should be complemented by systemic treatment with an oral formulation of Fenistil .

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
