Acutil 30 capsules

Acutil constitutes a nutritional protection that may help to maintain brain function and performance, particularly in older individuals or in situations of stress/intellectual overload (e.g. students during exam periods), where nutritional deficiencies may have greater impact.

Characteristics:

• Food supplement that contains, in addition to omega-3 fatty acids, Ginkgo biloba extract, phosphatidylserine, folic acid and vitamin E and B12, helping to ensure a sufficient supply of these nutrients and respond to the changing needs of the body.
• Omega-3 fatty acids, in particular docosahexaenoic acid, are a fundamental constituent of the membrane of neurons (nerve cells), which is fundamental for processing information in the brain. In turn, eicosapentaenoic acid plays an important role in the production of substances with an active role in immunological and inflammatory processes.
• Phosphatidylserine is also a very important component of the cell membranes of neurons, necessary to ensure efficient transmission of nerve impulses.
• Vitamin B12 and folic acid help maintain cell integrity and optimize nervous metabolism. Together, these two substances help protect the brain from the potentially harmful effects of a substance called homocysteine.
• Vitamin E plays an important role in protecting different tissues, in particular the brain, against peroxidation chemical reactions, which can occur from different normal metabolic processes and exogenous toxic agents. Failure to neutralize the compounds resulting from peroxidation can contribute to premature aging of cells. In addition to these anti-oxidant properties, vitamin E requirements are increased in individuals with diets rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids.
• The components derived from Ginkgo biloba also have important anti-oxidant properties. In addition, they may help maintain memory, particularly short-term memory.

Advice for use:

It is recommended to take one to two Acutil capsules a day, with food or non-alcoholic drinks. Do not administer to pregnant or breastfeeding women. Acutil should not be administered in case of known hypersensitivity to any of the constituent substances. Use is not recommended if you are taking anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs. Acutil contains soy and fish allergens. In case of epilepsy, coagulation disorders or diabetes, start taking this product after consulting your doctor or pharmacist. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
