Vomidrine 50mg 20 tablets

Vomidrine 50mg is indicated for the prevention and relief of nausea, vomiting and motion sickness.

Active substance : 50mg of dimenhydrinate.

Dosage and method of administration:

Oral administration. Adults: The therapeutic and prophylactic dose is 50 - 100 mg three to four times a day. Children: The recommended dose for children under 12 years of age is 5 mg/kg body weight/day, given twice or three times a day, which corresponds approximately to: 2 to 6 years - ¼ to ½ tablet, 7 to 12 years – ½ to 1 tablet, 13 years and over – 1 to 2 tablets, given 2 to 3 times a day. To prevent motion sickness, the first dose should be given 30 minutes before travel. Ingest the tablets with a little water, without chewing.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Glaucoma. Prostatic hypertrophy. In newborns.
