Dialix UT-5 30 chewable tablets

Dialix UT-5 is a highly palatable, soft, chewable dietary supplement for lower urinary tract disorders in dogs and cats.

Characteristics:

• N-acetyl glucosamine provides protection by strengthening the inner lining of the bladder.
• Prevents bacteria and crystals in urine from adhering to the inner lining of the bladder, reducing the incidence of infections.
• Reduces wall permeability, preventing the passage of harmful substances through the urothelium.
• Decreased GAGs in the bladder mucosa (such as N-acetyl-glucosamine) are related to the onset of idiopathic cystitis.
• Its acidifying capacity provides additional antiseptic properties.
• It also contains proanthocyanidins that reduce the ability of pathogenic bacteria to adhere to the urinary tract epithelium, reducing infections.
• It is also useful as a urinary deodorizer, neutralizing ammonia.
• Zea mays contains tannins that are astringent, diuretic, and anti-inflammatory, which increases urine volume and allows for further dilution of urolith-forming minerals.

Directions for use:

Cat: Initial Phase (2-4 weeks): 2 Chews/5kg of weight, once a day or divided into two doses. Maintenance Phase: 1 Chew/5kg of weight per day. Dog: 1 Chew/5kg of weight per day. Ensure permanent access to water.
