ByeMite 500mg / ml It is used for the treatment of infestations by red mites of the chicken (Dermanyssus gallinae) sensitive to organophosphates, in chickens and laying hens, in the presence of animals.

Active substance: Approximately 500 mg / ml.

Target species: Laying hens.

Foxima is an inhibitor of the cholinesterase enzyme (AChE) in nerve synapses. The enzyme inhibition is irreversible under physiological conditions. The postsynaptic accumulation of acetylcholine interferes with the transmission of normal impulses in the nervous system of arthropods. The phase of marked hyperexcitability and seizures are followed by paralysis and death of the parasite. Foxima is active against Dermanyssus gallinae. Foxima is a contact insecticide and mites are killed while and / or after crawling on foxima treated surfaces.

Posology and method of administration:

Prepare a spray solution of 2000 ppm of foxima by diluting the veterinary medicinal product in a dose of 100 ml with 25 L of water and shake carefully. Apply this spray solution in the proportion of 25 L per thousand hens housed on the surfaces that directly surround the birds and in the places where the mites hide, ie, cage nets, auxiliary equipment, metal posts, feeders, conveyor belts, nests of posture, etc. Use a spray device that produces thick drops. Repeat the treatment 7 days later. Freshly prepare the aqueous solution before application. The amount of spray solution must be carefully calculated and applied to the treated area. To reduce the environmental impact of foxima, the number of annual treatments for the pavilion should be restricted to 2, ie, to a total of 4 applications. The spray solution is applied to the cages in the presence of birds.
