Description
Duelmint 40 is a veterinary medicine indicated for the treatment of infestations by nematodes ( Toxocara spp., Toxascaris spp., Ancylostoma spp., Uncinaria spp., Trichuris spp.) and tapeworms ( Echinococcus spp., Dypylidium spp., Taenia spp., Diphyllobothrium spp.) gastrointestinal disorders of young dogs and cats.
Active substances: Mebendazole 40 mg; Praziquantel 2 mg.
Target Species: Dogs and cats.
Posology and route of administration:
Route of oral administration. Administer 1 ml of paste/2kg bw (equivalent to 40 mg of mebendazole/kg bw and 2mg of praziquantel/kg bw), once a day, for 3 consecutive days. Administer the paste directly into the animal's mouth, preferably at the base of the tongue. It is not necessary for the animal to be fasting and the paste can be mixed with food.
