Duelmint 40 is a veterinary medicine indicated for the treatment of infestations by nematodes ( Toxocara spp., Toxascaris spp., Ancylostoma spp., Uncinaria spp., Trichuris spp.) and tapeworms ( Echinococcus spp., Dypylidium spp., Taenia spp., Diphyllobothrium spp.) gastrointestinal tract of young dogs and cats.
Active substances: Mebendazole 40 mg; Praziquantel 2 mg.
Target species(s): Dogs and cats.
Dosage and route of administration:
Oral route of administration. Administer 1 ml of paste/2kg pv (equivalent to 40 mg of mebendazole/kg pv and 2mg of praziquantel/kg pv ), once a day, for 3 consecutive days. Administer the paste directly into the animal's mouth, preferably at the base of the tongue. It is not necessary for the animal to be fasting and the paste can be mixed into the food.
