Drontal Puppy Oral Suspension 50ml

Drontal Puppy is indicated for the treatment of mixed infections caused by nematodes of the following species: Ascarids: Toxocara canis , Toxascaris leonina ; Hookworms: Uncinaria stenocephala , Ancylostoma caninum ; Whipworms (adults): Trichuris vulpis.

Active substances: Febantel 15.0 mg; Pyrantel embonate 14.4 mg.

Target species: Canines (puppies and young dogs).

Dosage and route of administration:

Administration orally. The recommended dose is 15 mg of febantel and 14.4 mg of pyrantel embonate / kg of body weight, in a single administration (equivalent to 1 ml of suspension per 1 kg of body weight). Since ascarid infections occur at a very early stage in the dog's life (intrauterine and transmammary infection), treatment with the veterinary medicinal product should begin around the second week of life. The treatment of puppies should be repeated at intervals of 2 weeks. The suspension can be administered directly with the syringe or mixed with food. No dietary measures are necessary. Shake before use.
