The veterinary medicinal product is indicated for:

  • Suppression of lactation in pseudo-pregnancy.
  • Suppression of unwanted postpartum lactation.

Composition:

Metergoline 2mg

Posology and route of administration:

Route of administration: oral.

Recommended dose:

0.2 mg of metergoline / kg bw / day, divided into two doses, equivalent to 1 tablet / 20 kg bw, twice daily (morning and evening).

The usual duration of treatment is 4 days.

If symptoms persist after the end of treatment, prolong for another 4 days (ie 8 days in total).
