Milbemax Small Dogs and Puppies 48 tablets

Milbemax Small Dogs and Puppies is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic for small dogs and puppies weighing more than 0.5 kg and over 2 weeks of age. It comes in the form of chewable tablets, composed of the active substances milbemycin oxime (2.5 mg/tablet) and praziquantel (25 mg/tablet). This medicine is indicated for the treatment of mixed infections by tapeworms and nematodes, as well as for the prevention of dirofilariasis.

Active substances: Milbemycin oxime 2.5 mg and Praziquantel 25.0 mg.

Milbemycin oxime is active against mites, larval and adult stages of nematodes as well as against larvae of Dirofilaria immitis . Praziquantel is active against cestodes and trematodes.

Target species: Dogs (1 – 5 kg).

Dosage and method of administration:

Oral route. Minimum recommended dose: 0.5 mg of milbemycin oxime and 5 mg of praziquantel per kg, single dose, oral route. The veterinary medicinal product should be administered with or after feeding. 0.5 - 1 kg: ½ tablet. > 1 – 5 kg: 1 tablet. > 5 – 10 kg: 2 tablets.
