Nexgard XL Dogs 25-50kg 3 tablets

Packs of 3 afoxolaner-based chewable tablets indicated for the treatment and prevention of infestations caused by fleas and ticks in dogs weighing between 25 and 50 kg.

The afoxolaner molecule belongs to the class of isoxazolines. This new active ingredient was developed to offer excellent ectoparasiticidal activity against fleas and ticks. Although NexGard ™ is widely and quickly distributed, its periodic administration does not lead to cumulative effects.

The metabolism of afoxolaner occurs via the liver with excretion of metabolites, mainly by bile.

ÇNexGard ™ kills 87.8% fleas in 4 hours and reaches 100% effectiveness within 6 hours. As for ticks 100% are eliminated 48 hours after administration.

Directions for use:

Nexgard tablets can be administered on an empty stomach or with food. There is no difference in the absorption of afoxolaner in dogs in the pre- or postprandial state. For this reason, NexGard ™ can be administered with food or with the animal on an empty stomach, without interfering with its effectiveness.

NexGard ™ operates for a period of 30 days. Reducing the administration interval is not recommended.
