Karprovet is indicated for the treatment of inflammation and pain associated with musculoskeletal disorders and degenerative joint disease. Following parenteral analgesics for postoperative pain management.
Active substance: Carprofen 100mg
Carprofen has anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic activity. Like most NSAIDs, carprofen is an inhibitor of the cyclooxygenase enzyme in the arachidonic acid cascade.
Posology and route of administration:
For oral administration, 2 to 4 mg of carprofen per kg of body weight per day.
The duration of treatment will depend on the reaction observed. Long-term treatment should be carried out under regular veterinary supervision.
