Milprazon 16mg/40mg 4 tablets

Milprazon is indicated for the treatment of mixed infections caused by tapeworms and immature and adult nematodes of the following species: Tapeworms ( Dipylidium caninum; Taenia spp.; Echinococcus multilocularis) and Nematodes ( Ancylostoma tubaeforme; Toxocara cati) . The veterinary medicinal product can be administered to prevent heartworm disease (Dirofilaria immitis), if concomitant treatment against cestodes is indicated.

Active substances: Milbemycin oxime 16 mg and Praziquantel 40 mg.

Milbemycin oxime is active against mites, larval and adult stages of nematodes as well as Dirofilaria immitis larvae.

Praziquantel is active against cestodes and trematodes. 

Dosage and route of administration:

Orally. Cats should be weighed to ensure the correct dosage is determined. Minimum recommended dose: 2 mg of milbemycin oxime and 5 mg of praziquantel per kg, single dose. The veterinary medicinal product should be administered with or after food. Depending on the cat's body weight, practical doses are as follows: 2 to 4 kg - ½ tablet; >4 to 8 kg - 1 tablet; >8 to 12 kg - 1½ tablets.
