Milbemax Kittens 20 tablets

Milbemax Kittens is a broad-spectrum dewormer for cats and kittens weighing at least 0.5 kg.

Active substances: milbemycin oxime (4 mg) and praziquantel (10 mg), for each coated tablet.

Target species: Cats (≥ 0.5 - 2 kg).

Indications: For cats with, or at risk of mixed infections with cestodes, gastrointestinal nematodes and/or heartworm disease. This veterinary medicinal product is only indicated when administered against cestodes and nematodes or when the prevention of heartworm disease is indicated simultaneously.

Contraindications: Do not use in cats less than 6 weeks of age and/or weighing less than 0.5 kg. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substances, or to any of the excipients.

Dosage and route of administration: Orally. Underdosing may result in ineffective use and may favor the development of resistance. To ensure correct dosage, body weight must be determined as accurately as possible. Minimum recommended dose: 2 mg of milbemycin oxime and 5 mg of praziquantel per kg, in a single dose. The veterinary medicinal product should be administered with or after food. This ensures optimal protection against heartworm disease. Depending on the cat's body weight, practical doses are as follows: 0.5 – 1 kg ½ tablet; > 1 – 2 kg 1 tablet
