Flavoker is a non-prescription medication indicated for adults in the treatment of symptoms and signs related to chronic venous insufficiency (heavy legs, pain, fatigue, night cramps, edema and trophic changes in the lower limbs) and in the symptomatic treatment of hemorrhoidal crises.

Active substance: Micronized flavonoids, containing 90% diosmin and 10% other flavonoids expressed as hesperidin. Each 10 ml sachet of suspension contains 1000 mg of micronized flavonoids, containing 900 mg of diosmin and 100 mg of other flavonoids, expressed as hesperidin.

Dosage and method of administration:

Chronic venous insufficiency: The usual daily dose is 1 sachet. Treatment should continue for at least 4 to 5 weeks. The patient should consult a doctor if symptoms persist or worsen, or if the medication is needed for longer than suggested. Acute hemorrhoidal disease: During the first 4 days of treatment, the daily dose is 3 sachets (administered as 1 sachet three times a day). During the following 3 days, the recommended daily dose is 2 sachets (administered as 1 sachet twice a day). The recommended maintenance dose is 1 sachet. In this indication, Flavoker is intended only for short-term treatment. The patient should consult a doctor if symptoms persist or worsen, or if the medication is needed for more than 7 days. The sachets should be taken with meals. The suspension should be homogenized before being taken by pressing the top and bottom of the sachet several times with your fingers. Take directly from the sachet.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.

If in doubt or if symptoms persist, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
