Nalbix 10mg/g Cream is indicated in the dermatological forum and with a previous medical diagnosis: fungal infections of the skin caused by dermatophytes, namely interdigital mycoses on the hands and feet (eg: tinea manuum, tinea pedum known as "athlete's foot ”), pityriasis versicolor (more or less round spots, with hypopigmentation or hyperpigmentation, most often on the chest or back, which may scaly slightly) and diaper dermatitis when caused by fungi. In the gynecological forum and with a previous medical diagnosis: recurrent vaginal candidiasis. Clinical situation characterized by whitish vaginal discharge, accompanied by vaginal itching and usually with premenstrual exacerbations; infections of the labia (vulva) and adjacent areas, as well as inflammation of the glans and foreskin of the sexual partner caused by yeast (candida vulvitis and balanic candidiasis).

Active Substances: 10mg/g clotrimazole.

Clotrimazole acts against fungi by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol. Inhibition of ergosterol synthesis induces structural and functional damage to the cytoplasmic membrane.

Dosage and method of administration:

Nalbix cream is intended for cutaneous use. The duration of treatment must be stipulated by the doctor, the times mentioned are only indicative. If symptoms persist after 7 days of treatment, you should consult your doctor. Dermatological: Adults and children: To treat an area corresponding to the palm of the hand, a strip of cream (approximately ½ cm in length) applied 2-3 times a day is usually sufficient. The cream should be applied locally, morning and night after washing and drying the lesions to be treated. After application, massage gently and regularly so that penetration is complete, for periods that vary depending on the nature, location and extent of the dermatosis. In diaper dermatitis, Nalbix cream should be applied to the area to be treated, in a thin layer, 2 to 3 times a day. Recommended duration of treatment: Dermatological: 3 to 4 weeks; Nail fungus and athlete's foot: until symptoms disappear completely; Erythrasma and pityriasis vesicolor: 2 to 3 weeks; Vulvitis and balanitis: 1 to 2 weeks; Fungal diaper erythema: 2 to 3 weeks. In the gynecological forum - Vulvovaginitis: Simultaneous use of vaginal tablets and cream on the vulva. Vulvites: Apply the cream as in dermatology. In the treatment of fungal vaginitis and vulvovaginitis, it is advisable to simultaneously treat the spouse with Clotrimazole cream, even if they do not present symptoms of balanitis and/or perianal infection. If in a period of 6 months you have more than 2 infections and if there is fever, foul-smelling discharge or pelvic pain, consult a doctor. Since both the vagina and the vulva are usually affected, local treatment of both areas with the vaginal cream should be carried out. During the menstrual period, treatment should not be carried out. Treatment must be completed before the start of menstruation. In patients under 15 years of age, a doctor should be consulted before using clotrimazole cream for the gynecological lesion.
