Honey and Lemon Strepsils by its disinfectant action, it relieves throat and mouth problems, having a calming and soothing action on the irritated throat.
Active substance: dichlorobenzyl alcohol and amylmetacresol
Posology and method of administration:
Take this medicine exactly as described in the leaflet, or as advised by your doctor or pharmacist. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
The recommended dose is:
Adults and children over 6 years of age: dissolve 1 (one) lozenge slowly in the mouth every 2 or 3 hours as needed. Do not take more than 12 lozenges in a 24 hour period. Elderly: no dose reduction is necessary in the elderly. Children under 6 years of age: use in children under 6 years of age is not recommended. It is recommended to take this medicine for a maximum period of 3 days.
If you forget to take Strepsils Honey and Lemon: Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.
According to the legislation in force, medicines not subject to medical prescription in Portugal can only be delivered in the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This limitation does not apply to shipments to other Member States of the European Union.
