Mebocaína Intensive Orange 8.75mg 24 tablets

Mebocaína Intensive Orange 8.75mg is indicated for the short-term symptomatic relief of sore throat in adults and children over 12 years of age.

Active substances: One lozenge contains 8.75 mg of flurbiprofen.

Dosage and method of administration:

The lowest effective dose should be used for the shortest period of time necessary to control symptoms. Adults and children over 12 years: Slowly suck/dissolve one lozenge in the mouth every 3 to 6 hours as needed. Maximum of 5 lozenges per 24-hour period. It is recommended that this product be used for a maximum of three days. Not indicated for children under 12 years of age. For oral administration and for short-term treatment only. As with all lozenges, Mebocaína Intensive Orange Lozenges should be moved in the mouth while they dissolve to avoid local irritation.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Patients who have previously developed hypersensitivity reactions (e.g., asthma, bronchospasm, rhinitis, angioedema, or urticaria) in response to acetylsalicylic acid or other NSAIDs. Recurrent or past active peptic ulcer/bleeding (two or more distinct episodes with proven ulceration) and intestinal ulceration. History of gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation, severe colitis, bleeding or hematopoietic disorders related to previous NSAID therapy. Last trimester of pregnancy. Severe heart failure, renal failure, or hepatic impairment.
