Septolete Duo 3mg + 1mg is indicated for adults, adolescents, and children over 6 years of age for the short-term, local anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antiseptic treatment of irritations in the throat, mouth, and gums, including gingivitis and pharyngitis.

Active substances: Each lozenge contains 3mg of benzydamine hydrochloride and 1mg of cetylpyridinium chloride.

Dosage and method of administration:

Adults: The recommended dose is 3-4 lozenges per day. The lozenge should be slowly dissolved in the mouth every 3 to 6 hours. Elderly patients: The recommended dose is the same as for adults. Adolescents over 12 years of age: The recommended dose is 3-4 lozenges per day. The lozenge should be slowly dissolved in the mouth every 3 to 6 hours. Children between 6 and 12 years of age: The recommended dose is 3 lozenges per day. The lozenge should be slowly dissolved in the mouth every 3 to 6 hours. An adult should supervise the use of lozenges in children aged 6 to 12 years. Children under 6 years of age: Septolete Duo cola is contraindicated in children under 6 years of age. The recommended dose should not be exceeded. Septolete Duo cola can be used for up to 7 days. It is recommended that the lozenge not be administered immediately before or after brushing teeth. The patient should not eat or drink for at least one hour after taking Septolete Duo cola.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance(s) or to any of the excipients. Children under 6 years of age, as this pharmaceutical form is not suitable for this age group.

According to current legislation, non-prescription medicines in Portugal can only be delivered to the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This limitation does not apply to shipments to other Member States of the European Union.
