Gaviscon Duefet Red Fruits Oral Suspension 12x10ml

Gaviscon Duefet Oral Suspension is a medication indicated for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux symptoms related to acidity, such as acid regurgitation, heartburn, and indigestion, which may occur, for example, after meals or during pregnancy.

Active substance: Each sachet (10 ml) contains 500 mg of sodium alginate, 213 mg of sodium bicarbonate and 325 mg of calcium carbonate.

Dosage and method of administration:

Adults and children aged 12 years and over: 2 to 4 chewable tablets after meals and at bedtime, up to four times a day. Children under 12 years of age: treatment of children under 12 years of age is not recommended. Administer orally after being thoroughly chewed. Duration of treatment: The maximum duration of treatment without medical intervention is seven days. If symptoms do not improve after seven days, the patient's clinical condition should be reassessed.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.

According to current legislation, non-prescription medicines in Portugal can only be delivered to the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This limitation does not apply to shipments to other Member States of the European Union.
