Alorexyl 50mg/ml Skin Solution 3x60ml

Alorhexyl It is indicated in the treatment of male hair loss, known as androgenetic alopecia, and alopecia areata, commonly known as pelada. It is only intended for application to the scalp.

Active substance: 1 ml of solution contains 50 mg minoxidil.

After topical application, minoxidil stimulates keratinocyte growth in vitro and in vivo, along with hair growth in certain individuals with androgenous alopecia. This phenomenon occurs after approximately 2 months of using the product, and varies according to each individual. Growth is stopped when treatment is stopped, and a return to baseline can be anticipated within a period of 3 or 4 months. The precise mechanism of action is unknown.

Posology and method of administration:

Cutaneous use. A dose of 1 ml should be applied, twice a day, on the scalp. The application must start in the center of the area to be treated. Respect the dosage, regardless of the area to be treated. The total dose should not exceed 2 ml. Spread the product, using your fingertips, over the entire affected area. Before and after applying the solution, wash your hands thoroughly. Hair and scalp must be completely dry before applying the solution. Do not apply the product on any other part of the body. Until the stimulation of hair growth becomes evident, a treatment of two applications daily, over a period of 2 months, may be necessary. Alorexyl 50 mg/ml is not recommended for use in children under 18 years of age or adults over 65 years of age due to a lack of data on safety and efficacy.

According to current legislation, medicines not subject to a prescription in Portugal can only be delivered in the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This limitation does not apply to shipments to other Member States of the European Union.
