Fucidin Cream 30g

Fucidin is an antibiotic for topical use.

Fucidine is particularly indicated in adults for the treatment of localized skin infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to fusidic acid, such as boils, impetigo, pyoderma, abscesses, folliculitis, infected acne and wounds.

Active substance: One gram of cream contains 20 mg of fusidic acid.

Fucidin is active against some gram-positive bacteria and some gram-negative cocci, while it has no activity against gram-negative bacteria and fungi.

The antibacterial activity of Fucidin is not affected by the presence of pus.

Easily absorbed and non-greasy, as it does not have lanolin in its composition.

For all areas of the body, including the face (precaution when applied close to the eyes) and hairy areas.

Can be used with or without dressing.

Posology and method of administration:

Apply two to three times a day, with or without an occlusive dressing.

A minimum treatment of 8 days is recommended.

According to current legislation, medicines not subject to a prescription in Portugal can only be delivered in the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This limitation does not apply to shipments to other Member States of the European Union.
