Flavia Nocta was formulated to meet the nutritional needs of menopausal women and help reduce climacteric symptoms associated with this period, namely sleep problems, hot flashes, as well as maintaining bone and cardiovascular health.

Characteristics:

  • Flavia Nocta is a food supplement that combines melatonin, vitamins (folic acid, vitamin D, B6 and B12), minerals (calcium and magnesium), soy extract and alpha-linolenic acid.
  • Soy: plant that naturally contains a high concentration of isoflavones. These isoflavones are plant hormones with a structure very similar to female hormones.
  • Melatonin: helps reduce the time needed to fall asleep. The beneficial effect is obtained by ingesting 1 mg of melatonin shortly before going to bed.
  • Magnesium: magnesium is an essential mineral for the correct functioning of our body as it is involved in numerous important functions. Magnesium contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and contributes to normal psychological function.
  • Folic Acid, Vitamin B6 and Vitamin B12: a regular intake of these vitamins is recommended, which contribute to the normal metabolism of homocysteine. Homocysteine is an amino acid (a fundamental part of protein) produced in the human body. High levels of homocysteine in the blood are linked to a greater risk of cardiovascular disease. B vitamins also contribute to reducing tiredness and fatigue. On the other hand, vitamin B6 contributes to the regulation of hormonal activity.
  • Calcium and Vitamin D: During menopause, calcium needs increase. Calcium is necessary for the maintenance of normal bones.
  • Vitamin D can be synthesized in the skin by the action of ultraviolet rays from the sun. Vitamin D contributes to the normal absorption and use of calcium and also to the maintenance of normal bones.
  • Alpha-linolenic acid: alpha-linolenic acid is a fatty acid from the Omega-3 family and contributes to the maintenance of normal cholesterol levels in the blood. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily dose of 2 g of this fatty acid.

Usage advice:

Take one capsule a day with a glass of water, preferably at night just before going to bed. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a balanced and varied diet. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose and keep out of the reach of children.
