Milid 300mg 20 dispersible tablets

Milid 300mg is indicated for the treatment of acute respiratory infections and COPD exacerbations in the presence of hypersecretion.

Active substances: erdosteine.

Erdosteine, in addition to the property of thinning the bronchial mucus and thus favoring expectoration, shows effects in preventing the “in loco” formation of free radicals by opposing the action of the elastase enzyme.

Dosage and method of administration:

1 dispersible tablet 2-3 times a day, orally. Treatment should not exceed 10 days.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance(s) or to any of the excipients. Patients with active peptic ulcer. Due to the likely interference of metabolites produced by methionine metabolism, Milid is contraindicated in patients with cirrhosis of the liver and deficiency of the enzyme cystathionine synthetase. Due to lack of data in patients with renal impairment with creatinine clearance
