Dermatix Silicone Dressing 13x13cm

Dermatix Silicone Dressing is a transparent silicone dressing for scar treatment, suitable for application to exposed areas.

Features:

• Breathable and washable, made of silicone, ideal for face and hands, and can even be used to apply makeup over it.
• It helps to reduce abnormal scars and prevent the formation of new similar scars, helping to reduce pain, itching, redness or swelling.

Directions for use:

Remove the product from the packaging. If necessary, use scissors to cut the product to size. It should extend slightly beyond the scar area. Remove the protective paper liner and store for later use. Place the product “wet side” down, directly on the scar area. Keep it in place for a minimum of 12 hours and a maximum of 23 hours per day. Wash the scar area and both sides of the dressing with mild soap and water at least once a day. Rinse the product thoroughly to remove all traces of soap. Allow the product to air dry or lay it flat on a lint-free towel before reapplying. Store the product in the protective paper liner between each use. Do not use creams, lotions or ointments with this product as they may interfere with the product’s action and/or cause skin irritation. Do not use on open wounds.
