Iburon Gel Menthol Roll-on 50mg/g 60g

Iburon Gel Menthol is a non-prescription medicine indicated for the local symptomatic relief of pain and mild and occasional inflammation, after: post-traumatic situations, minor bruises, strains, torticollis or other contractures, low back pain and/or mild sprains.

Active substance: Each gram of gel contains 50mg of ibuprofen.

Dosage and method of administration:

Cutaneous use. Wash your hands after application. Adults and children over 12 years old: Rotate the bottle sphere until you see the product coming out. Then, start the application by rotating the sphere over the skin until the affected area is completely covered with gel. The amount needed will depend on the extent of the affected area. In general, 1 g of gel (50 mg of ibuprofen) covers an area of 15 x15 cm. The recommended amount is 1g–2.5g of gel in each application. Do not repeat the application more frequently than every four hours and no more than four times a day. The maximum amount that can be applied per day is 10g of gel. It is not recommended for children under 12 years of age.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Do not apply to sunburn. Given the possibility of cross-reaction with acetylsalicylic acid and other NSAIDs, do not administer to patients with a history of hypersensitivity to these medications whose administration caused rhinitis, asthma, pruritus, angioedema, urticaria, shock or other.

According to current legislation, medicines not subject to a medical prescription, in Portugal, can only be delivered in the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This limitation does not apply to shipments to other Member States of the European Union.
