Ibuprofen Vitória is a non-prescription medicine indicated in adults for the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate acute pain, of various origins, such as headaches, migraines, dental, rheumatic and muscular pain, back pain, neuralgia and dysmenorrhea. It is also indicated in adults for fever and cold and flu symptoms.

Active substances: Each film-coated tablet contains 400 mg of ibuprofen as the active substance. Excipient(s) with known effect: Lactose monohydrate – 1,962 mg.

Dosage and method of administration:

Adults are recommended to take 1 tablet up to 3 times a day, preferably after meals to improve the tolerability of the medicine and reduce the likelihood of gastrointestinal problems. The maximum daily dose to be taken, without a medical prescription, is 1200 mg of ibuprofen (3 tablets) within 24 hours. Do not use doses higher than those recommended or for more than 3 consecutive days, for fever, unless expressly advised by your doctor; Do not use for pain for more than 7 days in adults, unless prescribed by a doctor, as severe and prolonged pain may require medical evaluation and treatment. Do not drink alcoholic beverages during treatment. In the elderly there is no need to change the dose, but increased care is necessary. The lowest effective dose should be used for the shortest period of time necessary to relieve symptoms.

Contraindications:
