Ibudol 200mg Oral Suspension 10ml 20 sachets

Ibudol is a non-prescription medication indicated for the relief of mild to moderate pain such as headache, including migraine headache, toothache, muscle pain, contusion and post-traumatic pain.

Active substance: Each 10 ml sachet of suspension contains 200 mg of ibuprofen.

Dosage and method of administration:

Orally, preferably after meals. The lowest effective dose should be used for the shortest period of time necessary to relieve symptoms. This medicine is for short-term use only. You should not use doses higher than those recommended, not for more than 3 consecutive days for fever, or more than 7 days for pain, unless expressly indicated by your doctor. The dose of ibuprofen depends on the patient's age, body weight and clinical situation. Adults and adolescents over 12 years (≥40 kg): 200-400 mg given as a single dose up to 3-4 times a day with an interval of 4 to 6 hours. Dosage in migraine headache should be: 400 mg given as a single dose, if necessary 400 mg at 4 to 6 hour intervals. The maximum daily dose should not exceed 1200 mg. Children 6-9 years (20-29 kg): 200 mg 1-3 times a day at 4-6 hour intervals as needed. The maximum daily dose should not exceed 600 mg. Children 10-12 years (30-40 kg): 200 mg 1-4 times a day at 4-6 hour intervals as needed. The maximum daily dose should not exceed 800 mg.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Previous hypersensitivity reactions (eg asthma, rhinitis, urticaria or angioedema) in response to acetylsalicylic acid or other NSAIDs. History of gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation related to prior NSAID therapy. Active peptic ulcer/bleeding or history of recurrent peptic ulcer/bleeding (two or more proven distinct episodes of ulceration or bleeding). Severe liver or kidney failure. Severe heart failure (NY Heart Association class IV) or coronary heart disease. Last trimester of pregnancy. Significant dehydration (caused by vomiting, diarrhea or insufficient fluid intake). Cerebrovascular hemorrhage or other active hemorrhage. Dysematopoiesis of unknown origin. Chronic alcoholism (14 to 20 drinks/week or more). Children under 6 years old.
