Fresubin Original Drink it is indicated in patients with moderate energy needs, for example in diseases that lead to malnutrition such as, short bowel syndrome, intractable malabsorption, preoperative preparation of malnourished patients, dysphagia, proven inflammatory bowel disease, after total gastrectomy or intestinal fistula.

Characteristics:

  • Fiber-free (except chocolate flavor).
  • Gluten and lactose free.
  • Flavors available: Vanilla and Chocolate.
  • Contraindications: For enteral use only. It is not suitable for children under 1 year of age.
  • Precautions: Should only be used under medical supervision. Use with caution in children under 6 years.

Usage advice:

As a supplement: 2-3 bottles / day (400–600 kcal).

As a single food source: 7-8 bottles / day (1400–1600 kcal).
