Cholesterol Module 450g

Cholesterol Module is a powdered mixture based on carbohydrates and cholesterol.

Characteristics:

• Indicated to satisfy the nutritional needs of patients who require a source of exogenous cholesterol, such as in Smith-Lemli-Opitz Syndrome.
• For infants, children and adults.
• Not suitable as a sole food source.
• Exclusively for enteral use suitable for parenteral use.
• It must be consumed under medical supervision.
• Gluten free.
• The recommended dose differs according to the patient's age, weight and clinical condition. It must be determined by the doctor or dietician/nutritionist and must be based on serum levels of cholesterol and its metabolites.

Preparation method:

Dissolve the prescribed amount in a small amount of water, until it forms a paste, and add to a drink or meal. One measuring spoon contains 5.9g of powder. Once prepared, if not consumed immediately, it must be stored in the refrigerator and consumed within a maximum period of 24 hours.
