Nutilis Thickener 300g

Nutilis is an instant food thickener powder, which can be easily added to liquids, hot or cold (such as juices, coffee, tea, water and milk), soups, purees and also nutritional supplements.

Unlike other thickeners, Nutilis has properties that make it resistant to amylase and that allow it to maintain the recommended consistency of food and drinks - without getting liquids back in the mouth. Nutilis does not change the taste of food and drinks.

Thickened foods can be heated, refrigerated or frozen without changing their consistency. To get the most out of Nutilis, it is important to remember that the appearance and presentation of meals can have a very significant impact on the moment of the meal for the patient.

Indicated for patients with dysphagia.

It is not suitable for children under 3 years of age.

Directions for use:

Option 1 - Recommended Use the shaker:

1. Place the liquid preparation in the shaker

2. Add the recommended amount of Nutilis

3. Close the shaker lid tightly and shake vigorously until the powder is well dissolved (approximately 5-10 seconds)

4. Gently stir the preparation for 1 to 2 minutes

5. Let stand for a few minutes to obtain the desired consistency. Do not add Nutilis in the rest period, so that the preparation can thicken.

Option 2 With the aid of a fork or mixer in a tall glass:

1. Place the liquid preparation in a tall glass

2. Add the recommended amount of Nutilis

3. Shake vigorously until the powder is well dissolved (approximately 20-30 seconds)

4. Gently stir the preparation for 1 to 2 minutes

5. Let stand for a few minutes to obtain the desired consistency. Do not add Nutilis in the rest period, so that the preparation can thicken.

Option 3 With the aid of a fork or mixer in a bowl:

1. Put some of the liquid preparation in a bowl

2. Add the recommended amount of Nutilis

3. Mix the powder until it reaches the desired consistency

4. Add the rest of the liquid preparation

5. Gently stir the preparation for 1 to 2 minutes until the desired thickening is achieved

6. Let stand for a few minutes to obtain the desired consistency
