Hormel Thick Easy Clear is a food thickener based on xanthan gum and is resistant to salivary amylase.

Characteristics:

  • For the nutritional management of patients with dysphagia.

Usage advice:

It must be determined by the healthcare professional according to the patient's needs. Add the desired liquid to the recommended amount of powder and stir vigorously with a fork or a mixer until dissolved. Wait 2 to 3 minutes to reach the desired consistency. Do not mix with drinks > 70°C. If necessary, let hot drinks cool. Only use the included measuring spoon. It must be consumed under medical supervision. Not suitable as a sole food source. Used as a thickener for foods and drinks, as such, it does not provide a significant energy contribution. Not suitable for children
