Hypertonic saline solution for inhalation is a widely used and recognized form of treatment to increase the mobilization of secretions in the lower respiratory tract.

The osmotic effects of salt on the mucous membrane of the respiratory tract help to loosen the mucus that can then be released more easily through coughing. This allows considerable relief for patients with acute bronchiolitis, cystic fibrosis, COPD or bronchietasias.

Mucoclear can be used with jet operated nebulizer compressors, ultrasonic nebulizers or vibrating membrane nebulizers.

Sterile ampoules, without preservatives, ready to use. It exists in the concentration at 3%, especially recommended in the treatment of acute bronchiolitis, and 6% especially recommended in cystic fibrosis.
