Supofen 125mg 12suppositories

Supofen 125mg is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of flu syndromes and colds; in the treatment of mild to moderate pain (eg myalgia, headache, toothache, odynophagia) and in the treatment of fever lasting not more than 3 days. 

Active substances: 125mg paracetamol.

Dosage and method of administration:

Unless clinically indicated otherwise, the limit dosages are: Infants – 1 suppository of 125 mg one to three times a day. The maximum daily dose for infants should never exceed 60 mg/kg (severe situations). Children 1 to 5 years old – 1 suppository of 250 mg one to three times a day. The maximum daily dose for children aged between 1 and 5 years should never exceed 90 mg/kg (serious situations). Children 6 to 14 years old – 1 suppository of 500 mg one to three times a day. Adults - 500 mg three or four times a day. The maximum daily dose for children over 6 years of age and adults should not exceed 90 mg/kg (never exceed 4 g daily).

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance(s) or to any of the excipients. Patients with severe hepatic impairment. Patients with glucose-6-phosphate deficiency.
