Dolifenil 10mg/g Gel 100g

Dolifenil 10mg/g Gel is indicated for mild to moderate muscle pain, bruises and post-traumatic pain.

Active substance: diclofenac.

Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that provides effective pain relief, reduces swelling and shortens the time until recovery of normal function.

Dosage and method of administration:

Adults: depending on the size of the area to be treated, apply 2 to 4g of Dolifenil (20mg to 40mg of active substance per application) to the affected area, equivalent to a cherry or a walnut of gel applied to the skin, providing a treated surface area of between 400-800cm2. Apply up to a maximum of 3 to 4 times a day and massage lightly.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Dolifenil is not indicated for use in children. Dolifenil may be used with caution in patients who have previously experienced hypersensitivity reactions to other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (asthma attacks, skin irritation, allergic rhinitis). Patients with asthma, obstructive airway disease, allergic rhinitis or nasal polyposis are usually more sensitive than patients with asthma attacks and localised skin or mucous membrane oedema (Quincke's disease) or urticaria.
