Dolorilgel 30mg/g 50g

Dolorilgel 30mg/g is indicated for the treatment of post-traumatic pain.

Active substance: 30mg of nimesulide/g of gel.

Nimesulide is an inhibitor of the cyclooxygenase enzyme of prostaglandin synthesis. Cyclooxygenase produces prostaglandins, some of which are involved in the development and maintenance of inflammation.

Dosage and method of administration:

Adults: Nimesulide 3% gel (usually 3 g, corresponding to a 6-7 cm long line) should be applied in a thin layer on the affected area, 2-3 times a day, and massaged until completely absorbed. The duration of treatment should be 7 to 15 days.

Contraindications:

Known hypersensitivity to nimesulide or any of the excipients in the gel. Use in patients in whom aspirin or other drugs that inhibit prostaglandin synthesis have induced allergic reactions such as rhinitis, urticaria or bronchospasm. Use in breakouts of the skin or in the presence of local infection. Simultaneous use with other topical creams. Use in children under the age of 12 years.
