Analgesic Balm Basi 61.1mg/g Ointment 20g

Basi Analgesic Balm is indicated in the following situations: mild to moderate muscle pain; bruises; mild to moderate rheumatic pain (osteoarthritis/osteoarthritis); mild to moderate joint pain; moderate inflammation of musculoskeletal origin.

Active substances: 61.1 mg of methyl salicylate per gram of ointment.

Methyl salicylate (SM) is considered a compound with rubefacient (mild revulsive) properties. Although not completely clear, the mechanism by which it exerts this effect seems to be through irritation at the application site, which causes a vascular response, increased permeability and blood flow in the first minutes of application, which activity is maintained for 20 minutes following.

Posology and method of administration:

Apply an amount of Analgesic Balm Basi between 1 to 2 g on the affected areas. The duration of treatment should not exceed 2 weeks. Basi Analgesic Balm is administered externally.

According to current legislation, medicines not subject to a prescription in Portugal can only be delivered in the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This limitation does not apply to shipments to other Member States of the European Union.
