Ibuprofen Farmoz 200 20 tablets

Ibuprofen Farmoz 200 is indicated as an analgesic: mild to moderate pain including headache, toothache, myalgia, primary dysmenorrhea, bruises, post-traumatic pain, including dislocations and sprains and as an antipyretic: fever less than 3 days, particularly associated with flu and colds.

Active substances: 200 mg of ibuprofen.

Ibuprofen has a relevant inhibitory activity on prostaglandin synthesis, which explains its analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect. Ibuprofen also appears to have an irreversible inhibitory effect on platelet aggregation.

Posology and method of administration:

The dosage varies depending on the patient, age and clinical situation. Adults and children over 12 years of age: 1 or 2 tablets (200mg - 400mg) one to three times a day, given orally. Do not exceed the maximum daily dose of 6 tablets (1200 mg). Ibuprofen Farmoz should preferably be taken after meals.

According to current legislation, medicines not subject to a prescription in Portugal can only be delivered in the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This limitation does not apply to shipments to other Member States of the European Union.
