Preservision 3 protects the cells responsible for the visual system from oxidation and degeneration. Rich in antioxidant vitamins and minerals, macular pigments (lutein and zeaxanthin) and fatty acids.

Characteristics:

• Antioxidants (vitamins C, E, Zinc and Copper) protect cells from the aggression of free radicals, products derived from metabolic oxidation reactions and responsible for cellular aging. These reactions occur constantly, both in the eyes and in the rest of the body.
• Lutein and Zeaxanthin: They are components of the macular tissue located in the central area of the retina. They are not synthesized by the body, so daily intake in the diet is essential. Both have an antioxidant role and also filter blue light, which is toxic to the retina.
• Omega3 Fatty Acids: These are essential components of the body and cannot be synthesized, meaning they must be supplied through food. The main sources of omega 3 are fatty fish and some vegetable oils. The retina is particularly rich in omega-3 fatty acids, especially DHA, which suggests a strong implication of these lipids in visual function.
