Daktarin 20 mg/g Cream 15g

Daktarin is indicated for the treatment of nail and / or interdigital infections caused by dermatophytes or yeasts, and other fungi, such as: tinea corporis, manuum, barbae, cruris, pedis (athlete's foot).

Since Daktarin has an antibacterial effect against Gram-positive bacteria, it can be used in mycoses secondarily infected by bacteria in this group (eg, diaper dermatitis).

Active substances: 20 mg miconazole nitrate

Miconazole inhibits ergosterol biosynthesis in fungi and alters the composition of other lipid components in the membrane, resulting in necrosis of fungal cells.

Posology and method of administration:

Apply the cream to the lesions twice a day. The duration of treatment varies between 2 and 6 weeks, depending on the location and severity of the injury. Treatment should be continued without interruption for at least a week after all signs and symptoms have disappeared. For cutaneous use. Massage the cream into the skin with your fingers until the cream is completely absorbed.

According to the legislation in force, medicines not subject to medical prescription in Portugal can only be delivered in the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This limitation does not apply to shipments to other Member States of the European Union.
