Magnoral belongs to the group of medicines used in nutrition (vitamins and minerals). This medication should be taken to prevent and alleviate complaints suggestive of a lack of magnesium, such as weakness, fatigue, irritability, nausea, cramps and paresthesia (tingling).
Active substance: Magnesium chloride hexahydrate 1028.4 mg / 10 ml oral solution.
Posology and method of administration:
Take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet, or as advised by your doctor or pharmacist. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. The recommended dose is:
Adults: 2 to 3 ampoules per day, with meals. A daily dose of 3 ampoules of Magnoral corresponds to 98 % of the recommended daily dose of magnesium.
Pediatric population: Magnoral can be used in the pediatric population, according to medical advice.
This medicine is for oral use only. Magnoral should be taken with meals, directly or after diluting the contents of an ampoule in a little liquid (water, tea or fruit juice). The ampoules are plastic, with easy opening, opening through the crease. Magnoral should be taken daily for a period of at least 1 month. If you don't feel better or get worse after 30 days, you need to see a doctor.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.

According to the legislation in force, medicines not subject to medical prescription in Portugal can only be delivered in the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This limitation does not apply to shipments to other Member States of the European Union.
