Bronchodual is a traditional herbal medicine used to calm and soften the reflexes of dry cough and promote the expectoration of viscous mucus in cough associated with constipation. This medicine is a traditional herbal medicine for use in the specified indications and based exclusively on long-term use.
Active substances: Thyme dry extract, liquid extract of alteia root.
Posology and method of administration: Take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet, or as advised by your doctor or pharmacist. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. The recommended dose is:
Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: 15 ml every 3 to 4 hours, 4 times a day. If necessary up to 6 times a day; maximum daily dose of 90 ml.
Children between 4 - 12 years of age: 7.5 ml every 3 to 4 hours, 4 times a day. If necessary up to 6 times a day; maximum daily dose of 45 ml.
Children under 4 years of age: Use in children under 4 years of age is not recommended.
Solution for oral administration. Take Bronchodual undiluted, pouring the dose mentioned above into the measuring cup that comes in the package, which has a scale of 2.5 ml to 20 ml. If necessary, you can take Bronchodual diluted in water or hot tea. If you don't feel better or get worse after 5 days, you need to see a doctor.
According to the legislation in force, medicines not subject to medical prescription in Portugal can only be delivered in the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This limitation does not apply to shipments to other Member States of the European Union.
