Voltaren 24h 140mg Medicated Plaster 5 units

Voltaren 24h is a non-prescription medicine indicated for the short-term symptomatic local treatment (maximum 7 days) of pain in acute strains, sprains or bruises of the extremities after traumatic impact, in adolescents from 16 years of age and adults.

Active substances: Each medicated plaster contains 140mg of Diclofenac Sodium.

Dosage and method of administration:

Adults and adolescents from 16 years of age: A medicated plaster should be applied to the painful area once a day. The maximum daily dose is 1 medicated plaster per day, even if there is more than one injured area to be treated. Therefore, only one painful area can be treated at the same time. The medicated plaster should only be applied to intact skin without pathologies and should not be used during bathing or showering. It should not be divided. If necessary, it can be held in place using a mesh bandage. It should not be used in conjunction with an occlusive dressing. Voltaren 24h should be used for the shortest period necessary to control symptoms. The duration of treatment should not exceed 7 days.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Hypersensitivity to acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Patients who have previously suffered from asthma attacks, urticaria or acute rhinitis when taking acetylsalicylic acid or any other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Patients with active peptic ulcer. On damaged skin, regardless of the lesion involved: exudative dermatitis, eczema, infected lesion, burn or wound. Third trimester of pregnancy. Children and adolescents under 16 years of age.
