Dulcogotas 7.5 mg/ml Oral Drops 30ml

Dulcogotas 7.5 mg/ml Oral Drops is indicated in cases of constipation and in situations that require facilitated defecation.

Active substances: 7.5 mg/ml sodium picosulfate monohydrate.

Sodium picosulfate, the active substance in Dulcogotas, is a laxative with local action from the triarylmethane group.

Posology and method of administration:

Unless medically indicated otherwise, the following dosages are recommended: Adults and children over 10 years: 10 - 20 drops (5 - 10 mg). Children from 4 to 10 years: 5 - 10 drops (2.5 - 5 mg). For children under 4 years the recommended dose is 0.250 mg per kg of body weight. 1drop = 0.5mg. Dulcogotas should be taken in the evening to have the expected effect the next morning.

According to current legislation, medicines not subject to a prescription in Portugal can only be delivered in the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This limitation does not apply to shipments to other Member States of the European Union.
