Diclokern 39.2mg/ml Spray 30ml

Diclokern 39.2 mg/ml Spray is a non-prescription medicine indicated for the symptomatic, local, and short-term treatment of mild to moderate pain and inflammation of small and medium-sized joints and periarticular structures following acute and blunt trauma in adults and adolescents aged 14 years and older.

Active substance: Each ml (5 sprays) of solution contains 39.2 mg of diclofenac sodium. Each spray (0.2 ml of solution) contains 7.84 mg of diclofenac sodium.

Dosage and method of administration:

Adults and adolescents aged 14 years and older. Depending on the size of the area to be treated, 4-5 sprays (31.4 – 39.2 mg of diclofenac sodium) should be applied 3 times a day at regular intervals, to the hand or directly to the painful or inflamed area, always using a gentle massage to facilitate its penetration into the skin. The maximum single dose should not exceed 1.0 ml (equivalent to 5 sprays) of product. The maximum daily dose is 15 sprays (3.0 ml of spray solution containing 120 mg of diclofenac sodium). Undesirable effects can be minimized by using the lowest effective dose for the shortest time necessary to control symptoms. The single dose should not exceed 1.0 ml (equivalent to 5 sprays) of solution. The medicine is intended for short-term treatment only. Treatment can be discontinued when the symptoms (pain and swelling) disappear. Treatment should not be continued for more than 7 days without review of the clinical situation. The patient should be advised to consult a doctor if symptoms worsen or if no improvement is observed after 3 days of treatment. Method of administration: For cutaneous use only. After application, hands should be cleaned with paper towels and then washed, except when the hands are the area being treated. After application, a few minutes should be allowed to pass before applying a non-occlusive dressing or bandage to the treated area. Before first use, the pump must be pressed four times to activate it and its contents discarded. Failure to prime the pump may result in the application of a lower dose when used for the first time.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance, peanuts, soy, or any of the excipients. Hypersensitivity to acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Patients with or without asthma whose asthma attacks, urticaria, or acute rhinitis are triggered by acetylsalicylic acid or other NSAIDs. Third trimester of pregnancy. Do not apply to the breast area in breastfeeding women. In children and adolescents under 14 years of age. In open wounds, inflammations or infections of the skin, as well as in eczema or mucous membranes.
