Viartril-S 750mg 60 tablets

Viartril-S 750mg is indicated for the treatment of symptoms of osteoarthritis, ie pain and limitation of function.

Active substance : Glucosamine sulfate 750mg.

Glucosamine plays an important role in cartilage biochemistry as it enters the normal composition of the polysaccharide chains of essential glycosaminoglycans in the cartilage matrix and synovial fluid.

Dosage and method of administration:

Two coated tablets, once a day, by mouth, after a meal. Glucosamine is not indicated for the treatment of acute pain. Relief of symptoms (especially pain relief) may only be seen a few weeks after starting treatment and, in some cases, for a longer period of time. If there is no relief of symptoms after 2-3 months, long-term glucosamine treatment should be re-evaluated. Safety and efficacy have not been established in children and adolescents under 18 years of age, therefore dosage recommendations cannot be made.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
