Glucomed 625mg 60 tablets

Glucomed 625mg is indicated for the symptomatic relief of mild to moderate osteoarthritis of the knee.

Active Ingredients: 625mg glucosamine

Glucosamine is an endogenous substance, a constituent that enters the normal composition of the polysaccharide chains of the cartilage matrix and the synovial fluid of glycosaminoglycans.

Dosage and method of administration:

1250 mg of glucosamine once a day for symptom relief. Glucosamine is not indicated for the symptomatic treatment of acute pain. Relief of symptoms (especially pain relief) may only be seen a few weeks after starting treatment and, in some cases, for a longer period of time. If there is no relief of symptoms after 2-3 months, long-term glucosamine treatment should be re-evaluated. Gluart tablets must be swallowed whole. The tablets can be taken with or without food.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance(s) or to any of the excipients. Glucomed tablets should not be used in shellfish allergic patients as the active substance is obtained from shellfish.
