Dolenio 1500mg 60 tablets

Dolenio is indicated for the relief of symptoms of mild to moderate osteoarthritis of the knee.

Active substance: 1500mg glucosamine.

Glucosamine is an endogenous substance, being a constituent of the polysaccharide chains of the cartilage matrix and of the glycosaminoglycans of the synovial fluid.

Dosage and method of administration:

Adults: 1 tablet per day. Glucosamine is not indicated for the treatment of acute pain symptoms. Relief of symptoms (especially pain relief) may not be seen until a few weeks after starting treatment, and in some cases, for a longer period of time. If there is no relief of symptoms after 2-3 months, long-term glucosamine treatment should be re-evaluated. The tablets can be taken with or outside of meals.

Contraindications:

It should not be given to patients allergic to shellfish, as the active substance is obtained from shellfish. Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Children up to 2 years old.
