Vitaminophthalmine A 50000U.I./g Ophthalmic Ointment is indicated for conjunctival hyposecretion and eye irritation lasting less than three days.
Active substance : 50000 IU of Retinol
Dosage and method of administration:
As an average, it is recommended to apply a small amount of ophthalmic ointment, at least two to three times a day. When a favorable response is obtained, reduce the number of applications to twice a day. The method of administration consists of applying the dose of Vitaminophthalmia A, ophthalmic ointment, indicated by the doctor, in the conjunctival sac of the affected eye(s). During the first application, discard the small amount of ointment in contact with the cap. Avoid contact of the tube with the eye. The duration of treatment should be determined by the ophthalmologist based on the patient's clinical situation.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
